The government must instead focus on providing an infrastructure that is capable to meeting the healthcare needs of Americans. The future of healthcare lies in working hand-in-hand with technology and healthcare workers. Investing in a county healthcare system will allow us embrace emerging healthcare technologies and prepare the future generation of North Texan trained health professionals Healthcare is a priority because our very existence relies upon our ability to stay alive.
How do we accomplish this?

Protect the reproductive rights of women. Women must have full body autonomy and the right to privacy.

Allow families to be the sole deciders of their family planning with the final & over ruling decision left to the child bearer as it regards pregnancy.

Provide protections for licensed healthcare providers to perform termination procedure without the risk of criminal convictions.

Invest in community health centers that provide primary, prenatal, and other important care

Expand the access to mental health services and make them available at all publicly funded educational institutions

Invest in the diverse talent at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) to increase the amount of minority healthcare providers

Increase the Affordable Care Act subsidies and federal investment in Medicare

Redirect our focus on preventative care and increase salaries for Primary Care Physicians

Reduce the cost of prescription drugs and medical procedures

Invest in clinical research the curing birth defects, heart disease, airborne pathogenic infections, and cancer
